Still waiting!!

While this is a "crochet blog" I will occasionally post things about my life on here!! I don't really post on my other blog anymore, I get tired of having more than one so I figure why not!!

Another pair done!

These were made for Little Mister #2's preschool teachers Great Niece (I think that's what she said!) As I said in my earlier post - The color combination was one that I didn't think would work great together but that's what they requested & I think it turned out well!!

Insomnia...means crochet!!

Some might know from chatting with me via the 'ville, but I am currently 27 days away from my due date with my first daughter, 3rd child!! For about the past 3 months, I have woke up no later than 7am (even if my kids don't) and the past week no later than 5:30. I just can NOT sleep!! One would think that Little Miss was already here, though she surely isn't! I don't turn on the TV until the Little Misters are up & awake.. Insomnia for me - I crochet! What better thing to do while I can't sleep? Oh sure, I suppose I could clean, but I try to do that after the Little Misters are in bed, so really the only thing to pick up in the mornings are things that the puppy, Jingles, has drug out over night to play with (when SHE should be sleeping!)

My hands were busy yesterday!!

I've had quite a few people wanting to get some Christmas gifts so I've been working pretty hard to get them done!! 

Yesterday - I did 3 hats! I felt REALLY accomplished, I rarely get that many done in 1 day!! 

Yes, I have pictures, but they're NOT that great.. I can't get good lighting from my phone camera & my Kodak camera won't go into focus!! 

Small Purses!

These purses can be done in an array of colors! The two pictured are currently NOT for sale - The blue/purple combination will be given away this week (so make sure you keep an eye out for the giveaway) and the pink/yellow combination went to my mom for Mother's Day!!

Free Pattern! Pig Hat!

My husband comes home from work one morning, and says, "So and So wants to know if you can make her a pig hat & an owl hat for Christmas." I said, "Sure, when does she need them by?" He gave me a look, and I knew I was screwed!! I had 2 hats to do in a DAY and never done a pig hat before. So I just came up with my own pattern.

Simple Keychain Pattern!

This keychain can easily be crocheted in about 5-10 minutes. I made this one custom for someone.

What you need:
    * Small Amount of Worsted Weight Yarn (I use Redheart Super Saver)   How ever many colors you want. As you can see, I used 2 colors. Black &  Hot Pink.
    * Needle
    * Crochet Hook (I used a size G/6 - 4.25MM)
    * Key Ring

Easy Peasy Granny Square

To do a baby afghan, You will need 30 total squares. 

Do 5 across & 6 down!

Abbreviations:

MC = Main Color

CC = Contrasting Color

SC = Single Crochet

DC = Double Crochet

LSC = Long Single Crochet     (Go down as many rows as instructed & go on as you would when doing a normal SC)

Blue Owl

First CUSTOM hat order I've had. I started it yesterday morning & finished it last night!! I'm proud of it!!
