Easy Peasy Granny Square




To do a baby afghan, You will need 30 total squares. 
Do 5 across & 6 down!

Abbreviations:
MC = Main Color
CC = Contrasting Color
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
LSC = Long Single Crochet     (Go down as many rows as instructed & go on as you would when doing a normal SC)


What you need: 
Size G (4.00) hook
MC (Main Color) - I am using Red Heart Super Saver's Camouflage
CC (Contrasting Color) - I am using Red Heart Super Saver's Black
Tapestry needle.

Measurements - 6 inches by 6 inches

Row 1. With MC, chain 16. 
Row 2. In 2nd chain from hook, SC in remaining 15 chains. Chain 1, turn.
Rows 3 - 16. SC in each SC from row before, chain 1 & turn!
Fasten off after row 16.

Using CC, Attach to MC in corner, chain 1, turn. LSC 2 rows down, *SC in next chain, LSC in next chain** - repeat from * to **until you get to the end (6 LSC total)
For your corner, just do 3 sc in a corner chain 1. 
For your next side, SC in row end, *LSC 2 spaces down, SC in next corner end** - Repeat from * to **, then do your corner the same way as before. (6 LSC total)
3rd Side, LSC 2 rows down, *SC in next chain, LSC in next chain** - repeat from * to **until you get to the end (6 LSC total) Do your corner as before!
For your next side, SC in row end, *LSC 2 spaces down, SC in next corner end** - Repeat from * to **, then do your corner the same way as before. (6 LSC total).
Do this corner the same. 
After your 3rd SC, Chain 3. (Counts as DC)
*DC in each SC in row before.
CORNER - 3 DC chain 2 3 DC**

Repeat from * to ** until you have all 4 sides of your square filled with DC!
