Free Pattern; Super Simple Dish Cloth!

Please note; I did NOT write this pattern - It can be found on the back of any Peaches & Creme Label for the 2 oz Cotton yarn!! I just figured I would share :) I do NOT claim to have written this pattern!!





Materials needed;

Peaches & Creme yarn - (1) 2 oz ball.         (I used FADED GLORY)
G or H hook
Tapestry Needle

Stitches used;

Chain (CH)
Single Crochet (SC)
Slip Stitch (SS)
Half Double Crochet (HDC)

Finished Size; Approximately 8 inch square

Now for the pattern; 

Row 1;     CH 21, HDC in 3rd CH from hook & in each CH across.
Row 2;     CH 2, turn, HDC in each HDC across.
Rows 3-13;    Repeat Row 2, After Row 13, you should have a square approximately 6" on each side.

Round 1;   CH 2, 2 HDC in same stitch for the corner. HDC 18 evenly spaced stitches across the ends of the rows to the next corner, 3 HDC in corner, HDC in each CH across to corner, 3 HDC in corner, HDC 18 evenly spaced stitches across the ends of the rows to the next corner, 3 HDC at corner, HDC across, SS in top of 1st HDC.

Round 2; CH 1,, SC in BACK LOOP of 1st HDC, SC in back loops only of each HDC around, 3 SC in center HDC of each corner!!

You can vary your looks of the dish cloth by switching out colors, or getting the varigated colors!
