Cowgirl up!!

I was gifted THIS PATTERN via Ravelry & just HAD to make it!!

I'm not 100% pleased with the hat - I didn't have 2 skeins of the type of yarn that it called for - so I used RHSS (Red Heart Super Saver) and it came out WAY too stiff!
The boots came out a LOT better!! These - I am pleased with!! They are the first pair of booties or anything foot related that I have made and I like how they turned out!!

  1. If you were to soak the hat in a mixture of about a gallon of water and 1 cup (or a 1/2 cup) of white vinegar and then roll it out between towels to get rid of most of the moisture, and then stuffed it with fresh, dry towels to hold the shape while the hat dried, the hat would definitely be softer.

It might be too soft, but the water and vinegar soak definitely changes the character of Red Heart Super Saver.
